A few days back, I heard a song that blended Oriental and Brazilian influences. It resonated with me for its uniqueness and how it balanced calmness with liveliness. The piece was soothing yet energetic, filled with emotion, and inspired me to compose a similar piece.

While composing my song, I contemplated life's duality: Yin and Yang, darkness and light, sadness and joy, death and life. Consequently, I ended up creating two songs instead of one: MOONSHINE and SUNSHINE.

MOONSHINE and SUNSHINE provided a much-needed remedy, delivering relaxing vibes that calmed and soothed the anxiety I felt a few weeks ago. This was in stark contrast to the three serious and somewhat melancholic Math Rock songs I had released earlier.

I named this song MOONSHINE because that's what immediately came to mind when I finished it. It evoked an image of being in a Japanese garden at night, standing before a Torii gate (鳥居) by a small lake in the forest, illuminated by the glowing moon.

A Torii is a traditional gateway marking the entrance to sacred Shinto shrines, symbolizing the boundary between the human and divine worlds. Given the Japanese influence, I found it appropriate to illustrate this song.

I like this picture for its duality: the dark of the forest and the bright moonlight illuminating a clearing, revealing a Torii on a lake, with mist that adds a sense of both mystery and eeriness.

This blend creates an atmosphere and ambiance in the image that complements the melody, featuring Japanese and oriental sounds mixed with Brazilian vibes. Let this peaceful and relaxing background music enter your mind.
