THROUGH THE LENS (A PHOTOGRAPHER'S STORY)
by @domelgabor 2025
My latest track/composition and my 5th song featuring my own lyrics in a few weeks (I feel like a songwriter, now 😁👍😅).
I can't stop writing lyrics, I'm totally addicted. Inventing and writing stories and poems have always been a passion since childhood. But writing songs and especially lyrics is my new drug, so addictive. Looooooooooove it.
I love taking pictures, and I also follow the work of a few really inspiring photographers on Instagram and Facebook. However, because AI is gradually endangering their jobs (and the jobs of writers and songwriters, too) by generating images and videos (and texts and lyrics) that are increasingly difficult to distinguish from the real, genuine ones, it inspired me to write a song about what photographers do. I wrote this song with all photographers in mind (from the beginners and amateurs to the professionals).
Friends and professionals of the lens. This song is for you.
Hope you'll enjoy it. For some reason, the voice and the music style remind me a little of "Maroon 5," a band that I like for their positive energy and inspiring songs, too.
Available on YouTube
And on Spotify
Thank you for listening to my music and songs. It is much appreciated. 🙏
Take good care of yourself and your loved ones.
Peace!
Dom
