GLASS WALLS (Better Alone) by @domelgabor 2025

Building on my two earlier posts (check it out here and here), "GLASS WALLS (Better Alone)" is the third Math Rock song I composed two weekends ago.

At that time, I was overwhelmed with anxiety, fears, and doubts following a disagreement with a colleague at work. With no one to confide in, I turned to creativity as an outlet for my emotions and distress, writing the lyrics to three songs that emerged over that weekend.

Music is often an expression of emotions we can't directly say or share with someone, but instead put into lyrics that convey our mood and feelings at the moment we wrote them.

This Math Rock song is about the struggles you may have with people due to fear, anxiety, doubts, personal issues, and daily life struggles due to physical or/and/or mental conditions.

This song is for the people who are hypersensitive and suffering from anxiety disorders, fears, apprehensions, and phobias daily.

I have personally struggled with a profound lack of self-confidence and self-love, along with severe anxiety, since my teenage years. I've been navigating my daily life while managing the challenges and repercussions these conditions present. They impact my physical and mental health, as well as my moods, daily.

Now that I'm in my 50s, I've found it easier to conceal and manage my conditions, allowing me to continue working and lead an almost normal life. Nonetheless, it's a daily struggle against myself and these challenges. It isn't easy every day.

That is why these three songs "SIX DAILY LIVES (No Place to Hide)", "ONLY TRYING TO HELP", and this last one, "GLASS WALLS (Better Alone)" are important to me as they reflect my feelings and emotions.
