My latest track, "WHAT'S A DREAM" by @domelgabor (2026), is an Art Pop, Cinematic Rock song with rock-opera vibes. The title is self-explanatory, the song is about "WHAT'S A DREAM" 😉😁👍
For those familiar with me and my work, you're aware that the majority of my songs fall into the songwriter-style, storytelling, or explanatory categories. As the title indicates, this particular song is an explanatory-style piece, where I discuss and describe what a dream is.
By definition, a dream is a series of involuntary thoughts, images, emotions, and sensations occurring in the mind, primarily during the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) stage of sleep. These mental experiences can range from mundane to bizarre and are characterized by reduced self-control and intense brain activity. This is what I aimed to convey with this song.
